Fast File Uploads and Downloads
Working with the File Manager feels like working with your PC. The built-in drag & drop functionality will allow you to easily transfer files between your PC and the server. Simply select the file that you wish to upload from your desktop computer and then drag it into your browser. The same goes for downloading a file from the File Manager to your desktop computer. Also, you can download files and even folders to your hard disk drive by pressing the Download button.
Easy File Editing Options
With the File Manager user interface, you can create a brand new file or folder with only a single click. All action buttons are conveniently located above the file/folder list and you can update your files without difficulty. You can rename or copy a file, move a file to a different folder, see the contents of a file or modify its permissions, delete a file, and so on.
Handy Archive/Unarchive Functionality
With the File Manager GUI, you will be able to zip and uncompress all types of files. It does work remarkably fast - just select the files you wish to make a zipped archive of and push the Compress button. You can even select the archive file type (.rar, .zip, and so on). It is just as easy to extract the contents of an archive to a chosen directory.
File Editors
With the File Manager graphical user interface, you actually do not need any external software in order to update your files. There is an image viewer, which enables you to see the contents of your image files to get a clue about how the images will in fact appear on your web site. Furthermore, you will find an array of in-built file editors, which will grant you complete command over your files. The plain text editor and the code editor are designed for more competent users, whereas the WYSIWYG editor (where you can view all code changes in real time) is also suitable for technically inexperienced individuals.
